'Making a Difference'
Dear parents/care givers of students in Y3,
During the first unit in the school year, students of MYP3 have learned about the causes and consequences of the Industrial Revolution. They have researched important inventions and learned that being an open-minded inquirer can lead to great things: a better education for many, more and improved healthcare, a change in communication and more intercultural awareness.
Student have also learned that new inventions can have negative effects: pollution, global warming, flooding, depletion and degradation of resources can all be traced back to the inventions of the IR.
To make our students more aware about today's environmental problems and to inspire them to think about ways for a more sustainable future, they are at the moment trying to inspire others and themselves to take action on this matter. Maybe they have even asked you to join their action.
All students present the findings of their actions during the next test week. You are kindly invited to join the audience during these presentations.
